In a reaction to the numerous calls on the EC to come out and declare Nana Addo as the owner of the election, the former presidential candidate of the United Ghana Movement (UGM) in the year 2000 election said: "The electoral commission has 72 hours to declare the results so why the panic."
There are some level of anxiety among Ghanaians over a conflicting reports of victory by both the NDC and NPP, which has brought some pressure on the EC.
The two parties had held separate press conferences to assure their fans of victory.
The NPP has already come out to challenging the EC to come out and declare Nana Addo has won and has further asked President john Mahama to concede defeat .
