The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has announced that the Third Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament will commence on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Parliament House in Accra.

This follows an earlier notice issued on October 6, which deferred the initial date for resumption. In a new statement released on October 8, the Speaker, invoking Order 58 of Parliament’s Standing Orders, formally notified Members of Parliament (MPs) and the general public of the revised date.

The upcoming sitting marks the final meeting of the 2025 parliamentary calendar, during which MPs are expected to deliberate on critical national matters, including pending bills and financial legislation, particularly in preparation for the 2026 national budget.
