Former Ivory Coast and Chelsea Didier Drogba has paid Ghana president Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo a surprise visit at the Flagstaff House.

President Nana Addo shared a picture of the two at the Flagstaff House to his official Facebook page on Friday after holding a brief discussion with the football great.

“ A few minutes ago, the Chelsea Legend Didier Drogba, paid me a surprise visit at the Presidency”. the president announced on social media.

Didier Drogba is believed to be considering a career in coaching after being linked with former club Chelsea in a coaching role when he pulls the curtains on his illustrious career.

He has however retired from international duty after 12 years with The Elephants of Ivory Coast captaining the squad from 2006 till his retirement.

In total, Drogba made 104 appearances for Ivory Coast and scored 64 goals.
