Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to celebrate World Peace Day as Arsenal prepare to host Chelsea in their crunch Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

The north London side are preparing to welcome their local rivals to Emirates Stadium as they look to build on their three-game winning streak in the top flight.

Ozil was feeling in a reflective mood on World Peace Day on Wednesday and shared a picture of him praying before a game on his personal Instagram account.

The German midfielder shared the picture on the app and wrote: “Let’s bring more peace to the world! #PrayForPeace #WorldPeaceDay”

Arsenal head into Saturday’s clash with Chelsea looking to gain revenge over the Blues for the disappointment of their 1-0 loss to the west London side at The Emirates last season.
