President John Dramani Mahama on Monday, November 3, 2025, officially welcomed German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to the Jubilee House as part of the latter’s three-day state visit to Ghana.

President Steinmeier was accorded a full military Guard of Honour at the Forecourt of the Presidency, underscoring Ghana’s commitment to fostering stronger diplomatic and economic cooperation with Germany.

The visit marks a significant milestone in the long-standing relationship between the two nations, focusing on trade, investment, renewable energy, and technological collaboration.

Following the welcoming ceremony, both leaders were expected to hold closed-door discussions and later lead their respective delegations in bilateral talks aimed at expanding strategic partnerships and enhancing development cooperation.
