Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,  on Thursday evening arrived at the Kotoka International Airport amid a rousing welcome.

He had returned from the  UK where he went on for medical check up.

Dr was welcomed on arrival by the President Nana Akufo-Addo and the first lady Rebecca

Some of the government officials and members of the governing New Patriotic Party [NPP] who were at the Airport included the Interior Minister Ambrose Dery, Trade Minister Alan Kyeremanten, Hackman Owusu Agyemang, Sheikh I.C. Quaye, and Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin among others.

The Vice President exchanged pleasantries with several ministers of state and other members of the governing New Patriotic Party, [NPP], who had lined up to meet him.

Dr Bawumia touched down  beaming with smiles.

He was hugged by the President and the First Lady before he entered a car to the VVIP Lounge,

He arrived on Thursday evening to a rousing welcome at the Kotoka International Airport
