The former Manchester United winger is seemingly close to being ready to play again but there are still doubts as to whether he will feature when Real host Osasuna on Saturday.

Real Madrid have had to make do without their talisman in their opening two La Liga matches, but Ronaldo's absence has not been hugely detrimental to Zidane's team.

Madrid beat both Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo to go into the international break with a 100% league record.
