Ghanaian prodigy Pierre Dwomoh is inching closer to joining Royal Antwerp from Genk in a club record deal after agitating for the move for some time now.

The 17 year old Ghanaian midfielder is highly regarded in Belgium and is seen as one for the future but has decided to move to Royal Antwerp.

He has now ended his acrimonious departure after the two clubs signed off on the transfer before even deadline day approaches.

Royal Antwerp will pay Genk an amount of 2million Euros for the talented youngster as he seals the transfer in the coming days.

That amount is a record transfer for a 17 year old player in the history of Belgium football as no teenager has been bought for that much.

Romelu Lukaku and Jeremie Doku were involved in higher transfer fees but were older that Pierre Dwomoh at the time they were transferred.

According to sources, all is set for Dwomoh to be announced be Royal Antwerp subject to him passing a medical examination.
