The Tema Police have initiated investigations into a recent theft of two computers at the Dental Clinic of the Tema General Hospital.

Three persons have been picked up in connection with the incident, which occurred on the night of Thursday September 15 at about 7pm.

Accra News’ Danso Abiam, reporting, said the thieves broke into the clinic and made away with two desktop computers, triggering suspicions the theft could have been instigated by some staff of the hospital.

According to him, the police have, thus, invited the hospital’s head of security and two other workers, to assist in investigations.

Some staff of the hospital also told the reporter that the hospital had been the subject of robberies for some time – an average of two per month – but authorities at the facility had failed to act on the matter.
