Controversial and outspoken marriage counselor and life coach, Counselor George Lutterodt, has waded into the trending issue about a nursing mother who was assaulted by a uniformed policeman in one of the banking halls of Midland Savings and Loans.

Speaking in an extensive interview on Kofi TV, the counselor made the point clear that there was clearly no justification whatsoever for the policeman’s action because no one deserved to be treated that way.

However, he chided the woman, Patience Osafo for probably having a hand in the whole assault case which has gained a lot of reactions on social media.

According to Counselor Lutterodt, Madam Patience Osafo allefedly asked for financial assistance from the policeman and it might have angered him to take such an action.

Counselor Lutterodt also bashed the lady for not knowing the essence of family planning which resulted in her giving birth to 3 children in the face of her existing economic condition.

The outspoken counselor also alleged that the policeman, who has come to be identified as Frederick Amanor, might have acted out of the fact that the lady did not heed to his command of walking out of the banking hall peacefully.

A few days ago, social media went into a frenzy over a very worrying video involving a policeman assaulting a nursing mother carrying her baby.

The video received a lot of condemnation on social media with the masses calling for the head of the policeman in the video.

Not long after the video went viral, many government bodies and individual condemned the act resulting in the immediate arrest of the policeman.

Reports have it that the matter is being handled by the top hierarchy of the Ghana Police Service.

The lady in the video, has had her life transformed after the incident owing to the fact that many Ghanaians have dug deep into their pockets to support her financially.

Recent checks conducted indicate that she has already received cash donations to the tune of GHc 40,000 already.

Top management at Midland Savings and Loans have officially apologized to the lady and the general public. The financial institution has also promised to compensate the lady for the harm that has been done to her.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has also spoken against the abuse and has admonished law enforcers to protect citizens rather than abuse them.
