Ghana's leading sports website, Ghanasoccernet.com writer Sheikh Tophic Abdul Kadir Sienu has review his observation in Togo-Ghana friendly which ended 1-2 in favour of Ghana.

The Renowned sports journalist who has earned the nickname Ghana's premier league "Ambassordor one" due to his love and commitment for the local league expressed his opinion on Black Stars team B for their good show against the Local Hawks in lome.

Sheikh writes...

Black Stars B continued their impressive record in a series of friendlies with another win over Togo in Lome yesterday. The performance of the Black Stars B was not overly impressive but they were tactically disciplined.

Having followed the team since day one of their preparation, I could easily compare and contrast the performance of the team in all the friendlies they have played as of now.

I was in Togo, as usual, to watch the side’s 2-1 win over the Local Hawks and I believe if the following is immediately addressed, the team will travel far in their quest to win the CHAN tourney for the first time.

The friendly was part of Black Stars B’s preparation for the CHAN qualifier with Burkina Faso, set for Ouagadougou next month.

Togo played better, Ghana were simply tactical. This was because the Black Stars B were very uncomfortable on the pitch. It was a natural pitch underneath it is clay. So with the heavy downpour the whole of Saturday and little drizzles earlier ahead of the game on Sunday, Ghana could not play well. The Togolese attacked the Ghana goal area numerously by Awal Mohammed and Musah Nuhu weaved a pillar in front of Razak Abalora to deny them a goal in the opening exchanges. Razak Abalora himself was excellent on the day.

Ghana showed that their continuous training on the AstroTurf will not help them against Burkina Faso. Ghana will play on a natural pitch against Burkina and I suggest they swiftly start training on a natural pitch. If the ones at Prampram are not good enough, the Sports Ministry and the GFA must ensure the team moves to where they can stay and train on a natural surface. Mention must be made that the Burkina Faso pitch could be of similar state like the Stade de Kegue in Togo. The Ghana side will struggle a lot if they continue training on the AstroTurf ahead of the Burkina game.

The Executive Committee of the Ghana FA must hold serious discussions with the Premier League Board to scrap off the midweek matches for this month. Maybe they can honour it this week and then play the Premier League only on weekends to enable the team to continue their preparations. Playing midweek matches will not permit the Black Stars B to prepare properly as players will not be available. If this is not done, their two months preparations will all be in vain. Vanity!

I also believe that an advanced team must be sent to Burkina Faso to observe their team, watch their preparations and take a closer look at the pitch on which the game will be played. That will arm Ghana with enough ammunition to qualify for the CHAN.

The return leg of the game must not be played on a natural surface, I suggest. It must be played on an artificial pitch. If the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope qualifies to host the game, let the game be played there. Ghana can win massively over Burkina Faso there. This is because since the Black Stars B are used to training and playing friendlies on the AstroTurf, they will have huge advantage against Burkina Faso.

Finally, Kotoko’s Saddick Adams must join the team immediately. The side really needs an arrowhead striker. I am not suggesting this because Saddick is recently scoring for Kotoko. I am saying this because Saddick was a member of the tem even before moving to Cyprus, and he was actually the captain. His form and experience is hugely needed by the side especially against a strong Burkina Faso side.
