Kumasi Asante Kotoko lost moving summit of the leg log with poor home form as they drew goalless with fierce rivals Aduana Stars in GhPL match day 25 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.

Both teams remained on unchanged on the table following the result. Kotoko still lie fourth, two points adrift of leaders All Stars while Aduana are second, only a point below first position.

Brimming with loads confidence following successive wins against Dreams and Liberty Professionals, Kotoko were seeking to make it three straight wins. However, Aduana had other ideas as they put up a masterful display to snatch a point.

Top scorer Yahaya Mohammed with 14 goals failed to extend his tally as Kotoko were able to neutralize his threats.

The Porcupines dominated the first department, creating a handful of decent openings but failed to break down the resolute defence of Aduana.

Kotoko though managed to put the ball in the net 10 minutes after recess. But referee Mark Lord Arhin rightly disallowed the goal for offside.

The Porcupines huffed and puffed with Kwame Boateng tormenting the back four of Aduana. The unrelenting pressure almost paid off in the 84th minute as Kotoko struck the woodwork, by far the best opportunity of the game.
