The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Koku Anyidoho, has picked up nomination forms for the 2016 elections on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.

Mr Anyidoho picked the forms today at the head office of the Electoral Commission in Accra.

President Mahama is seeking re-election when Ghana goes to the polls in December.

Four political parties, earlier on Tuesday picked up their presidential nomination forms.

They are, Kofi Akpaloo of the Independent People’s party (IPP), Madam Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akwasi Addai Odike of the United Progressive Party (UPP) and Nana Agyenim- Boateng of the United Front Party (UFP).

Presidential nominees are expected to pay GHc50,000 as filing fees while parliamentary aspirants are expected to part with GHc10,000.
