Black Stars coach Avram Grant has briefed the media ahead of 2017 AFCON qualifier last group game against Amavubi of Rwanda at the Accra sports stadium this afternoon.

The Israeli told the media about his preparation for the game against Rwanda.

"As a coach,I will be honest with you I don't like the preparation this week, there are many things that I like, the spirit of the players on and off the pitch and you know what they did to come here but this not good preparation even though we will take the best and be ready".

Grant explains the part of preparation he dislikes.

"I didn't like how the players paid for their tickets,we didn't know whether the players are coming or not,I think everything needs to be organized because I am organized and I put my program out few weeks before the game,so that everything will be ready but I don't know what happened in the last moment and I was not happy, but we are ready for the game".

The ex- Chelsea boss justified why he did not choose local based players for the game.

"My target is to do something first, many African countries haven't done it ,to win the world cup. Talent is in Africa and specifically Ghana, the target is to build a strong squad and a winning team,I will not divide Ghanaians whether local or foreign player and also help develop the next generation".

The former Portsmouth manager assured Ghanaians,he will never allow what happened in Brazil 2014 to happen again.

"Until now I didn't let it happen but every game we have some problems. The issue is either money, or this. If we wait until the last moment, what happened in Brazil will happen again. I will not let it  happen again. What we lose from it is the operation will go well but the preparation will die.We don't want that to happen".

Asked why he ignored the GhPL goal king Yahaya Mohammed and opted for Dauda Mohammed,Abednego Tetteh and Ocran. The Israeli coach responded:

"I am very sure that everyone will have someone in mind that you will want me to call. But I am happy with the players I have".

Grant called on Ghanaians to support the Black Stars against Rwanda.
