A Call to Action for Digital Safety
The rapid advancement of technology and the widespread use of the internet have revolutionized communication, business operations, and access to information. However, these advancements have also introduced new vulnerabilities, placing cybersecurity at the forefront of priorities for businesses, users, and national economies.
To address these emerging challenges, One Albania, a leader in telecommunications, hosted a pivotal Cyber Security Conference on Tuesday. This event emphasized the critical need for robust cybersecurity measures across all sectors, fostering dialogue among industry leaders, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders.
Cybersecurity: A Cornerstone for Economic and Social Stability
Opening the conference, Brano Djurovic, Executive Director of One Albania, underscored the essential role of cybersecurity in today’s interconnected world.
“In today’s digital age, cybersecurity is not just a technical issue; it is a fundamental aspect of our economy and society. At One Albania, we ensure that our networks are protected and that our customers are informed and shielded from cyber threats. Moreover, we are the first TELCO company to guarantee the security of other companies' systems through our services,” Djurovic remarked.
This sentiment was echoed throughout the event, with experts highlighting the need to integrate cybersecurity into every aspect of digital operations.
