The president of policy think tank, IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe, has admonished the opposition New Patriotic Party to publish a book to counter the achievements touted by the governing National Democratic Congress.

“I have a little bit of advice for the NPP; I think it will be important for the NPP to take the green book, go round the country and look out for the things that have been done and do a counter book to show the things that didn't happen,” he said on Citi FM's news analysis program, The Big Issue.

The NDC published the Green Book few months ago which supposedly captures the major achievements of government.

According to Mr Cudjoe, the NPP can rubbish the projects captured in the Green Book to prove government wrong with its own findings instead of their “reactionary” posture.

“It appears they are reactionary in some of the things that are happening. They can do a red book because it is one of the dominant colours of the party. This moment in time, when we are looking at just pockets and talking about which roads were constructed. It will be better for NPP to get its own people to go round to do it, they have the resources to do it.”

The Green Book is one that the NDC says is a compilation of the promises which the president has fulfilled.

It contains photos of some of the projects that have been undertaken by the Mahama-led administration in all the sectors including education, health, transportation, housing, security among others.
