Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris is in demand in the French League as club's are circling for his signature in the French Ligue 1.

RC Strasbourg is the latest club to show interest in the Ghanaian striker who is languishing in the reserves of Portuguese giants FC Porto.

RC Strasbourg will need another striker who will relieve the burden of Ludovic Ajorque.

The Reunionese (25), the most used offensive player this season with Racing, has scored 9 goals with 4 assists and has scored 3 goals in his last 3 games.

"He is a very important player for us, who has crossed levels and will continue to progress," said Lamine Koné in The Team.

Beside him, the observation is less encouraging. Lebo Mothiba has scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists but is currently out injured against ASSE (2-1, December 21).

Meanwhile, promising Ivorian Kévin Zohi (23) was held back (2 goals in C3) by a thigh injury.

The need for attacking reinforcements at RC Strasbourg is stronger than ever as the injury concerns in attacking is mounting.
