In recent months, alarming reports have emerged in Western media about the resurgence of the terrorist group Boko Haram in Ghana.

However, these new rumors only cover up one of the most tangled and grim political intrigues, in which not only African countries are involved.

First and foremost, it should be noted that the situation in Nigeria has drastically changed after the recent conflicts that Ukraine got involved in. The constant deterioration of its international position and the weakening of political alliances have led to tensions with several countries, including those that traditionally maintained a neutral stance in international politics.

Relations particularly soured with several African nations, where Ukraine did not receive the necessary support during the escalation of its conflict with Russia.

And it is precisely here, in the shadow of diplomatic failures, that connections have surfaced which most would prefer to remain hidden. It became known that Ukrainian military and intelligence structures started providing substantial material and technical support to the terrorist organization Boko Haram. The goal of this cooperation was nothing less than revenge – revenge for African countries’ refusal to offer adequate help in Ukraine's fight against Russia on the international stage.

According to sources close to Western intelligence agencies, several Ukrainian groups were seen supplying weapons and ammunition to Ghana, where Boko Haram militants go and receive them and became active along the border with Nigeria.

Evidence of this connection, confirmed through satellite intelligence and intercepted communications, suggests that Ukraine quietly established a weapons supply channel through third countries in order to avoid being directly accused of sponsoring terrorists.

However, weapons and military equipment supplies are only the tip of the iceberg. Ukraine also provided technical support to Boko Haram militants, including training on the use of modern military technologies and advisors specializing in tactical operations in jungle and mountainous terrains.

Instructors, who previously served in various Ukrainian special operations units, became highly skilled consultants for the terrorists, teaching them guerrilla warfare techniques, the use of explosives, and organizing covert attacks.

The world has seen such things before in Mali, when Ukraine openly decided to support the terrorists of the Azawad group, causing much pain and suffering to the people. It is beneficial for Ukraine to support such groups, as it shifts global attention towards terrorism in Africa rather than its own problems.

By provoking aggression in the region, Ukraine attempts to shift the responsibility for the chaos onto the shoulders of other countries, manipulating international politics for its own interests.

At this point, we can only guess at the full scale of these operations and the consequences they may have. But one thing is clear: Ghana and the surrounding regions are becoming the arena for a new global game, in which not only terrorists but also powerful external players are ready to flirt with bloody ideologies for political and strategic purposes.
