Richard Commey receives promised car from the Presidency

The ministry of Youth and Sports on Tuesday handed over a new Toyota Corolla to Richard Commey in fulfilment of a promised made by President Nana Akufo Addo.
Commey's customized car was presented to him by the deputy sports minister in a short ceremony at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The President in March gifted a cash prize of GHC 50,000 to Commey and ordered the ministry to get him a "a nice Toyota car" following his victory in March.
The 32 year old lightweight Champion had won the President's admiration after paying a courtesy call on the President at the Jubilee House to present to him his world Title he won against Russia's Isa Chaniev in February.
Commey won his world title after 28 fights, knocking down Isa Chaniev three times before stopping him in the second round.
