Ghanaian defender Issaka Seidu has completed a loan move to Ljungskile SK for the remainder of the year, as he looks to gain valuable first-team experience in Europe.

The young left-back, also known as “Baba”, joins the Swedish second-tier side from FC Nordsjælland, with the move aimed at accelerating his development through regular playing time.

Seidu is a product of the renowned Right to Dream Academy, where he has been nurtured since the age of 12. He has steadily progressed through the ranks and is widely regarded as one of the promising defensive prospects to emerge from the system.

After impressing at youth level, he earned promotion to Nordsjælland’s senior team in 2024, an important milestone in his young career.

The switch to Sweden is expected to provide him with consistent minutes on the pitch, offering an opportunity to refine his defensive skills and adapt to a new competitive environment.

For Ljungskile SK, Seidu’s arrival brings added depth and youthful energy to their squad as they aim to strengthen their campaign.

The loan spell is seen as a crucial step in the defender’s journey, with the ultimate goal of returning to Nordsjælland as a more experienced and complete player ready to compete at a higher level.
