Asante Kotoko striker  Saddick Adams will be out of game action for the next weeks due to injury, Coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin has confirmed.

Saddick has not been in action due to injury sustained in Congo in Kotoko's CAF Confederation Cup against CARA.

According to coach Fabin the striker's six weeks absence was communicated to him by the club’s medical team.

The former Bechem Chelsea striker was not in action when Kotoko played against  New Edubiase friendly match played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“Saddick Adams is nursing an injury. He will be out for six weeks. That’s what the doctors have told me, he said,in a post match interview of their match agaisnst New Edubaise, adding: "That’s the reason why you didn’t see him today.”

Coach Fabin guided Kotoko to defeat division one side New Edubaise by  2-0 friendly on Sunday, relying on strikers Federick Boateng and Obed Owusu in Saddick's absence.

Adams' career has been blighted with strings of injuries in recent times.

A six-week absence would also see him miss some Premier League games should the league start in a week time as  expected.
