Presidential Staffer and a leading communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sam George, has reported of his facebook account being hacked.

Myjoyonline.com  had earlier reported  that the Member of Parliament (MP)-elect for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency has  "referred to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as 'President-Elect.'"

reported to have declared Nana Addo as the winner of last Wednesday"s election.

However  the young communication expert has tweeted to refute  the story, saying the message  is  "fake".

"My facebook account has been hacked.Kindly ignore the mischief," he tweeted.

"My account should be up and running soon," he added.

Hacking and social media hoax has taken a centre stage in the aftermath of the December election, which the both the NDC nad NPP have laid seperate claims of winning.

The electoral commission had earlier reported of an attempted hack on its website, whiles the the National Chairman of the People's National Convention(PNC) has described  a supposed congratulatory message by Edward Mahama to Nana Addo as a hoax.

Endorsing Nana Addo as the president elect will be   the last thing any member of the ruling Government will do now, as the party has claimed its candidate John Mahama is in a "comfortable lead", contrary to what some sections of the media and the NPP have asserted.

Presidential Staffer and a leading communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sam George, has referred to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as “President-Elect”.

The Member of Parliament (MP)-elect for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, in a tweet Friday morning, declared the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leader as the winner of the keenly contested polls.

He sent the conceding tweet even though the constitutionally mandated body, the Electoral Commission (EC) is yet to declare the results of Wednesday's polls.

Sam George’s tweet also contradicts the NDC’s last press conference addressed by its General Secretary, Asiedu Nketia Thursday insisting that they are leading the polls and are confident of President John Mahama’s victory.

The Presidential Staffer tweeted, “President-Elect NADAA. Too many errors but the legacy of JDM is undoubted. I am humbled to have served you Sir.”

Early Friday, President John Mahama tweeted that Ghanaians will make the nation proud no matter the Commission’s declaration.

“Let's allow EC to carry out its constitutional mandate. We'll make Ghana proud no matter outcome”, the president tweeted.

However, Sam George has come out to say that his account was hacked.

He tweeted that, “My Facebook account has been hacked. A fake message has been sent. Kindly ignore the mischief. My account should be up and running soon.”
