Sampdoria are eyeing a sensational return of Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan in the ongoing January transfer window.

The Blues have officially  joined the queue of Serie A clubs interested in the services of the Sassuolo midfielder.

The Ghanaian international’s current contract runs until 2022 and is valued at €20million by his club.

Roma are also said to be interested in Duncan, yet the player would prefer a move to AC Milan over the Italian capital.

Duncan has been in sublime form for the Mapei Stadium outfit in the ongoing, scoring three goals in 12 games.

The 25 year old proved to be an important figure for Sassoulo after joining the Club three seasons ago from Sampdoria.

Having initially spent time on loan at the club, the former Ghana U20 star was signed on a permanent deal after an impressive spell.
