Samsung has started rolling out Android Pie operating system update for its Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). As reported by SamMobile, the latest update brings Android 9 Pie Samsung One UI along with February 2019 security patch. For now, it is available to Galaxy A7 (2018) users in Russia.
The updates changelog includes features like ability to reply to messages directly in the notification panel, night mode to help keep eyes comfortable, new adaptive theme and availability of floating keyboard in all apps. Further, the new drawer menu makes it easier to manage contacts from various accounts.

Powered by 2.2GHz octa-core processor, the handset offers a 6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080x1220 pixel resolution. This comprises of 24-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP secondary sensor with 120 degree ultra wide lens and a 5MP depth sensor.

The dual-SIM smartphone comes in two different variants - 4GB and 6GB paired with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. The storage may be further expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.

Connectivity features include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The device is backed by a 3300mAh battery. It comes equipped with a side mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
