Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom has re-joined Georgian topflight side FC Torpedo Kutaisi after he departed last month.

The full back spent barely four months at the club after joining in February 2021 before parting ways but has made a quick u-turn.

Announcing his return to the club, Inkoom wrote, "I’m back ⚫️⚪️🟡

"Happy to be back in such a traditional and titled club of Georgia, like FC Torpedo is.

"When I decided to leave the club, I wrote that would never forget amazing fans of the club. So, now I am again back and I will do everything for you “jungles” ❤️

The former Kotoko defender and 2009 World Youth Championship winner has played for more than a dozen club in his career.

He scored once in 16 appearances for  Torpedo Kutaisi in his first stint.

The former Black Stars player has in the past played for Basel, Dnipro, Dunav, DC United, Antalyaspor and Samtredia among others.
