The future of Ghanaian striker Samuel Obeng at lower tier Spanish side Real Oviedo is in limbo as the player look set for the exit.

Obeng joined the junior ranks of Real Ovideo in 2019 but has been in and around the first team failing to nail a starting berth in the team.

He scored in Real Oviedo's preseason game against Aviles over the weekend but that may not be enough to keep him at the club despite having two more years on his current contract with the club.

According to reports the player and his representatives have held a meeting with the club and may head out in the coming days.

The former Black Meteors striker is attracting interest from clubs in Portugal and Spain and a move looks probable although there is no firm offer at present.

Obeng scored 3 goals in 36 matches in the Spanish lower tier last season and has five caps for the Black Meteors scoring twice.
