Former Ashgold striker and captain Shafiu Mumuni has denied media reports that he has signed a contract with Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC.

The striker is now a free agent after failing to agree fresh terms with Obuasi Ashantigold ahead of the new campaign.

News went viral in the local media on Wednesday that the lethal finisher has signed for the Dawu based side but the striker has denied those claims.

''It's not true, i have not spoken to anyone at Dreams. There are suitors from France,Spain and Portugal and in Ghana Kotoko is also around. It's not true am joining Dreams FC," he added.
