He said, "This time I’m even releasing more songs but people are not even aware. I’m just trying to make people take their minds off certain things."

Shatta added that although he has tried to create controversies to get people focused on him and the entertainment industry, Ghanaians do not seem to care because everyone is thinking of how to make ends meet in a difficult system.

“I’m trying to put controversial stuff in the industry for Ghana to be interesting but the country is becoming hotter and hotter each and every day.”

He asked the President to do something to help make Ghana a better place.

“I beg the president to do something. Ghanaians are suffering too much. I just want to say this on air for him to know that I also care about the country. The way he wants Ghana to move is the same way I also want Ghana to move but people are complaining too much. Like there’s no money, businesses are collapsing."

Shatta Wale was recently in the news for attacking award winning rapper Sarkodie and Kwaw Kese.

According to him, the two are all poverty stricken artistes.
