Managing Director of Star Times Ghana Ernest Quaye Arday has said his company is focused on bringing development to Ghana football.

StarTimes signed a deal worth $17.5 million with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), which will last for 10 years, to telecast the Ghana Premier League, the Division One League, and the National Women’s League matches.

“As a television platform, we will work very closely with the various stakeholders of Ghana football to lift the game to another level. So we are focusing on the development of Ghana football in general,” he said in an interview with Class Sports.

According to him, StarTimes plans to “support Ghana football with infrastructure and we are partnering with the GFA to build some pitches and we are hoping that this will go a long way to help the game”.
