Dean of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso has called on government to assist Kantanka Automobile by purchasing their vehicles in order to create jobs and fulfil its promise of industrialising Ghana.

Dr Antwi-Danso made the call at the 38th Annual Technology Exhibition Show of Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo to showcase his innovation for the year.

This year’s exhibition was under the theme: “Advancing the frontiers of science, technology and innovation through religion to transform society.”

Speaking at the event, Dr Antwi-Danso said: “I was stun to read recently in the dailies that the Ghana government had purchased some 100 Nissan cars for the Ghana Police Service.

“I was stun because Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo had in the recent past gifted the Ghana Police Service a vehicle and I was thinking that if the Ghana Police Service needed some vehicles, they would advise government to purchase some from Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo and I demand it.

“That is how to help Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo realise his dream of industrialising Ghana and patronising made in Ghana goods. Let us tell VW to come and partner with Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo.

“How do we have cars like the “Obrempong”, “Onantefuo”, etc and we import Mahindra, Korando, Tata to Ghana. Every year, government purchases cars, it is already budgeted for, please, let us turn our attention to these beautiful and durable cars from Kantanka.

Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Marfo in response assured that the government will assist Kantanka automobile with incentives.
