Suhum Okorase Nkosohemaa donates sanitary pads to female students

The Adom Obiyaa Organisation in collaboration with the Front Line Advertising Foundation has donated 900 pieces of sanitation pads to adolescents of the Basic Model Schools at Okorase in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region as the world marked World Menstrual Day. 

The female adolescents were sanitized on how to use Sanitary pads to ensure personal hygiene.

The Founder of the Foundation, Nana Obiyaa Mannwe, also Nkosohemaa of Suhum-Okorase said Menstrual Hygiene has become extremely essential to the general well-being of women and adolescent girls all over the world.

According to her, Millions of women and girls around the world are prevented from reaching their full potential just because they menstruate.

She explained that, "This unfortunate situation has lingered on for far too long, and has sadly deprived many talented and intelligent young ladies of what is due them".

She said, "On this day, Adom Obiyaa Foundation and Frontline Advertising are here to change this perception and create awareness about the issues and challenges our ladies who do not have access to menstrual products are faced with."

"We shall also donate some sanitary pads to our beautiful young girls here" she added.
