Ghana's Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe defended his IBO Lightweight by stopping Carlos Takam with a controversial 10th-round stoppage at the Bukum Boxing Arena.

The Argentine faced flurries of early punches from Baby Jets Promotion   's iconic figure, who was fighting his 28th bout.
The referee did the odd when he stopped the bout in the 10th round after Saucedo hit the canvass from punches to the back of his head,

However, the referee stopped the bout and awarded the technical knockout victory to Tagoe, amid protest from Saucedo as the 37 year old Argentine raised issues of illegality.

Saucedo visited the canvass twice in the second round but complained a lot in the match that Tagoe was throwing illegal punches to the back of his neck.

The victory thus means Tagoe  remains undefeated in 28 bouts.
