Decompost bodies suspected to be of the the three missing Takoradi girls have been found barely one year on after the incident happened.

The bodies were discovered and exhumed in a manhole at Kasawrodo in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western region.

Ruthlove Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie went missing between August and December 2018.

The bodies, which were found with signs suggesting massive sexual abuses, were retrieved from a manhole in the area Friday evening.

According to Starr News, the key suspect was brought to the scene during the exercise.

A team of police personnel undertook the operation after a tip-off in the community.

The whereabouts of the girls became a mystery several months after the issue gained national prominence.
