Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak Frank Nelson Nwokolo has backed the newly constituted Premier League Management Committee to thrive.

Mr Nelson Nwokolo says he has no shred of doubt that the persons appointed onto the committee will do a stellar job.

"Looking at the personalities on the Premier League management board you cannot doubt their competence."

"You can see the GFA made good consultations for instance you look at the chairman Alhaji MND Jawula and you would not doubt his competence."he told Kumasi based Akoma Fm.

"The standards of Alhaji Jawula in Africa and Ghana football is not in doubt."

The former Executive Council member is highly optimistic the Alhaji Jawula led committee will work assiduously to merit an extension of their one year mandate.

"I believe it is the best thing they have done and I know with Jawula amd other committee members although I don’t know the vice but I know most others like Delali Senaye of Inter Allies."

"I worked with him at the marketing and sponsorship committee of the FA ."

"I know with their work their one year mandate will be extended".

The GFA has discarded the old system where all Premier League clubs were represented on the Premier League Management Committee (formerly called Premier League Board).

Under the new system, the Executive Council will nominate two representatives, who will be the Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively, and the eighteen Premier League clubs will nominate the remaining five members of the Premier League Management Committee.
