Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has asked the youth of Ghana to refrain from blaming politicians for their economic challenges. ‘

The stated that there is the need to work hard, and not play the blame game.

Taking to Twitter, he indicated that there is an urgent need to instead, support every government that comes into office.

He noted that the development of the country does not depend on the government but the people in the country and therefore there is the need for the people to rise to help develop the country.

In his opinion, one can achieve greatness if there is a willingness to resist laziness and work hard to achieve greatness.

Shatta Wale is one of Ghana's most popular dancehall artists.

The musician shot up to fame in 2004 with his hit single "Bandana from Ghana", which made tremendous hits on the Ghanaian airwaves.

His influence with his large fan base makes him one of Ghana’s highly favored celebrities.
