Reactions pouring in following the sentencing of actress Akuapem Poloo are mostly of discontent than of joy or relief.

Although a section of the public are happy about the 90-day jail term slapped on the controversial social media influencer, many others are unhappy about the sentence.

Many are those questioning why she was swiftly tried and sentenced when others have done worse and are still going about their normal lives.

Journalist and Lawyer, Samson Lardy Anyenini posted about the sentence some few minutes after it was given and many social media users thronged his page to share their frustrations. Mr Anyenini described the current generation as one that is confused, and "needing principle, a sense of decency and a scruple of morality".

Mr Anyenini who believes Akuapem Poloo got a fair sentence, expressed hope that her seven (7) year old boy will survive the "potential effects of what he was made to suffer."

Pray - 90 days. Luck. Fair. Tough Love. Lesson. Confused Generation needing Principle, a sense of Decency and a scruple of Morality. May the child survive the potential effects of what he was made to suffer.

But key amongst those who reacted to the post, disagree with his view on the sentence.

Vice President of Imani Africa, Kofi Bentil, said there was nothing fair about the sentence.

According to Mr Bentil, "the system is swift against the weak and poor whilst worse pieces of humanity still strut around free after their massive mayhem"

Nothing fair here my brother. The system is swift against the weak and poor whilst worse pieces of humanity still strut around free after their massive mayhem!!!
