The Public relations officer of Medeama Sporting Club Patrick Akoto has refuted claims making rounds that his outfit has gone into a partnership agreement with fourth tier side Alcobendas Sport.

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey about a moth ago  purchased Alcobendas Sport, a tiny football club based in Madrid that plays in Spain’s lower leagues. The Atletico Madrid star teamed up with three of his advisers to seal the complete takeover of the club.

Alcobendas Sport, was on the verge of extinction in the summer but now have an exciting future after two representatives of Thomas Partey (Jose Jimenez and Jose Jimenez Junior) and the son's partner assumed control of the club at the end of July.

Local media reports had suggested that Medeama had entered into a partnership with them but spokesperson for Medeama in a chat with Ghanacrusader.com said.

“It is not true, we have not signed any partnership agreement with Alcobendas Sport.”

“Nothing yet to talk about partnership,” he added.
