Treat the circulating new jersey as a hoax - Henry Asante Twum

In the last few days some newly crafted jersey designs have flooded the media space as that of the Black Stars of Ghana.

According to the reports PUMA have designed new set of jerseys for the Black Stars but the Communication's Director of the GFA, Henry Asante Twum says those jerseys should be treated as a hoax as the GFA is not aware of any new jersey designed by PUMA for the use by the black Stars.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Alpha radio, the GFA spokesman said they will unveil an official jersey when there is a new one.

"I am surprised to read comments about the said jersey"

"Since 1992 the colours of the national teams have changed so why will one say the FA and Puma have changed the design and colour of the jersey "

"We will unveil the new jersey when the time comes but for now let us treat the circulating design as a hoax" he said.
