Turkish Football top tier side Bursaspor are reportedly lining up a bid for Ghanaian striker Majeed Warris.

The 25 year old has been a revelation at French outfit FC Lorient but could not help prevent the side from succumbing to relegation.

Warris moved to France after an abysmal season with Turkish side Trabzonspor during the 2014/15 season but Bursaspor President Ali Ay is keen on bringing him back to the country after failing to land his Ghanaian compatriot Asamoah Gyan.

Turkish media outlet fotomac reports Bursaspor coach Paul Le Guen, formerly of PSG and Lyon, admires the work of Waris and is pushing to lure him back to the Super Lig either on an outright purchase or via a loan deal.

“We called his manager. We want to either buy or hire him,” Bursaspor President Ali Ay is quoted as saying.

The striker was bought by Lorient for a little more than 4 million euros two years ago.

Majeed Waris scored 9 goals and made 4 assists in 35 games last season.
