A driver and a passenger are in a  critical condition after an O.A bus with registration number GT 5648-12 collided  with an Urvan Hyundai-Grace bus with registration number AS 3186 Y carrying passengers from Nandom to Lawra Wednesday morning.

According to an eye witness who spoke to Ultimate news’ Musah Lansah, explained that the accident occurred some few kilometers away from Lawra around the mile one bridge,  when two Burkina Faso-bound articulated tanker trucks were on the rough road moving towards Hamile.

The O.A bus driver realizing that the two long tanker vehicles were producing too much dust on him, attempted over-taking the tankers. In the process of over-taking them in the dusty road from the left side of the road, the O.A driver crashed with the oncoming urvan bus.

The driver of the urvan bus and a passenger who were sitting in the front seat of the urvan had their legs broken and trapped in the  mangled urvan.

The two passengers from the urvan bus are responding to treatment. No  person in the O.A bus got injured.
