The University of Ghana has set drastic measures against indecent dressing on campus in reaction to the ‘Sex for Grades’ documentary by the BBC.

The University's Department of Animal Biology and Conservation Science via a communique issued stern warning to students who dress provocatively to lecture halls.

A notice on the department’s notice board read: “Decent dressing is required of all students in this department.”

It cautioned: “You could be turned away from academic facilities if you are not decently dressed.”

The University of Ghana has been in the news for days now over an undercover investigation by the BBC Africa Eye which sought to expose the allegations of sexual harassment by lecturers.

Meanwhile, the management of the University of Ghana has interdicted two lecturers, Professor Ransford Gyampo and Dr Paul Kwame Butakor after they were caught in a ‘sex-for-grades’ trap of the BBC.

This was made known in a statement signed by Stella A. Amoa, Director of Public Affairs at the University of Ghana on Tuesday, 8th October 2019.
