Alfred Duncan has broken his silence on his continuous exclusion from Black Stars squad.

The Sassuolo ace was among some high profile Ghana players snubbed by Kwesi Appiah in the 1-0 defeat to the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the Afcon 2019 qualifier a fortnight ago.

The other players left out include Captain Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew.

Speaking in an interview with KweseESPN, the 25 year old revealed his frustrations of not making the squad for the trip to Kenya.

Duncan however remains hopeful he will get his chance after his strong start to the Italian Serie A season for US Sassuolo, excelling in all the five games he has featured.

"It hurts that I have been ignored because everyone wants to play international football," he told KweséESPN.

"It is a compliment to be considered good enough for your country, and all I can personally do is to make my case by playing well at club level."
