A former Deputy Minister for Works and Housing under the past NDC administration, Samson Ahi has taken a swipe at government for failing to complete an official bungalow for the Vice President.

He said he’s stunned by the seeming neglect of the project by the current administration challenging it to complete it in the interest of the nation.

There were hue and cry over the construction of the bungalow after the Vice President revealed that the project is costing the state some $15 million.

Works on the bungalow has currently stalled, but Mr Ahi wants government to take the necessary steps to fix all issues impeding the project and resume works on the project as soon as possible.

“I don’t think it makes sense for anybody to stop it. If there are issues with it they should take the necessary steps to rectify it and continue with the project. If there has been an over payment, they know what to do to get the money back and if the contractor has worked and has not been paid they should know what to do. They should stop this thing,” he said
