VIDEO: Efya celebrates femininity with new video – ‘Whoman Woman’

Multiple award winning Ghanaian Songstress, Jane Fauzzier Awindor best known by her stage name Efya, released the visuals of her latest single titled,'Whoman Woman'.

The song which has been dubbed the female empowerment anthem see Efya reiterate her long-held confidence in the special prowess of women in her latest offering.

The Hassan Beiruthy and weareabstrakte-directed video finds the singer portraying the power, influence and strength of women.

It follows her sobering piece on love, published two months ago.

Efya got signed to One Nation Entertainment in 2011. Her first single after she left the group was ‘Little Things’.

The mixtape This Is Not the Album released in 2013 consisted of songs released in the early days of her musical career.

For four consecutive years between 2009-2013, she won ‘Best Female Vocalist of the Year’ at the Ghana Music Awards.

Efya released her debut album Janesis on April 22, 2016. The 21-track album features collaborations with Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Ice Prince, Mugeez, and E.L.

She is currently signed onto the UK-based record label Jutland Entertainment and directed by Abstrakte x Hassan Beiruthy
