Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus marked a sensational return to West Ham United's starting lineup as they played to a draw against AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League.

Kudus, who recently featured in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) where Ghana was eliminated in the group stage, showcased his talent for West Ham.

Under the management of David Moyes, Kudus, who had scored two goals in two matches for Ghana at the 2023 AFCON, was included in the starting lineup for the Premier League clash at the London Stadium.

The match saw James Ward-Prowse's second-half penalty equalizing the score after Dominic Solanke had given Bournemouth an early lead with a goal assisted by Kalvin Phillips.

The turning point for West Ham came in the 61st minute when Lloyd Kelly fouled Mohammed Kudus in the penalty area, resulting in a penalty.

Ward-Prowse converted the penalty by firing the ball straight down the middle.

Despite efforts from both teams, the game ended in a draw, with West Ham maintaining their sixth position in the Premier League table.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, moved to 12th place, securing an eight-point gap from the relegation zone.

Kudus, who has been in fine form, has now scored six goals and provided an assist in 17 Premier League appearances for West Ham United in his debut season with the club.
