This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin on Tuesday, 17 April 2018.

This decision was communicated to the Board Chair by Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, as the President Akufo-Addo is currently attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in the United Kingdom.
