Vodafone Ghana has rewarded five of its loyal customers with GH¢50,000 in the ongoing ‘Yee Twi Kɔ’ reloaded promotion in Accra.

The ultimate monthly winner, Kalaya Gortar, an entrepreneur in Accra, took home GH¢30,000, while Samuel Obeng, Samuel Amoako, Jones Baneseh, and Fawzia Karim, won GH¢5,000 each in the weekly campaign.

The Head of Mass Marketing, Vodafone Ghana, Mr Richmond Asante, said Vodafone was committed to getting closer to its cherished customers by serving them better.

“We want you to have the best network; making it possible for you to call whoever you want to call at any time. “Today, we are here with Yee Twi Kɔ reloaded, which is much bigger and better just for you,” he said.

He added that “these are interesting times for our customers and we are happy to be sharing it with them. Going forward, our determination to provide a unique experience for our customers and to ensure that they are empowered will remain unchanged.”

He emphasised that Vodafone Ghana’s Yee Twi Kɔ promotion last year went so well that customers were asking for more, thus the reloaded.

“We came up last year with a concept which had not been done before; the scratch and win promotion, which was called the Yee Twi Kɔ promo, which was to commemorate Vodafone’s sixth anniversary in Ghana and also thank our loyal customers,” he noted.

Showing gratitude

The promo, which is Vodafone’s way of showing gratitude to its devoted customers for their continuous support and patronage, will have customers winning by building points to win the monthly cash prize of GH¢30,000 and ultimate cash prize of GH¢150,000 at the end of the 90-day period.

Mr Asante indicated that with his outfit’s current presence across the country, there were more than GH¢2.5 million worth of prizes up for grabs by 730,000 customers in the 90-day campaign.

The promo, which brought consumers from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra and its environs, saw most customers walking away with airtime and Vodafone Yee Twi Kɔ branded t-shirts.
