Head coach of relegation threatened WAFA, Guillermo Zaragoza has resigned from his role at the club with  immediate effect.

This comes barely 24 hours after their latest 1-0 defeat to Accra Lions on Wednesday at Sogakope in what has been a woeful season for the academy side.

It has been nothing short of a disaster for the former Real Madrid youth team coach  since  he took over the reigns.

Despite his over a decade experience of developing and nurturing youthful talents he was unable to use his stardust to good effect as he leaved WAFA gasping for breath lying 17th and six points adrift safety with five matches to end the season.

The club will be looking to appoint a new coach with the departure of the Spanish trainer.
