Mubarak Wakaso featured prominently in his side’s 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the Spanish La liga game played at the Estadio de Mendizorroza.

It’s the second game the Ghanaian midfielder has played in since returning from a minor hand injury.

The 29 year old Central midfielder lasted 82 minutes on the field but was unable to affect the results of the game.

Real Madrid took the lead in the 52nd minute of the second half through captain Sergio Ramos.

But the home side levelled minutes later when Lucas Perez netted from the penalty spot in the 65th minute.

Dani Carvajal scored the decisive goal that proved to be the winner four minutes later for Real Madrid.

Wakaso has made 13 appearances for Deportivo Alaves so far in the La liga this season.
