Head coach of WAFA,  Guillermo Zaragoza says that his side deserved the three points on Saturday in their match day 5 clash against Great Olympics.

It was the first win for WAFA after four matches with an indifferent form this season in the Ghana Premier League as they recorded a solitary 1-0 win over the Wonder club.

Just as everyone thought the game was heading for a goalless draw, WAFA won a penalty after Marvin Owusu was deemed to have been upended in the penalty box by the referee.

Striker Justus Torsutsey stepped up and converted the penalty to give his side a solitary goal lead deep into injury time and their first win of the season.

Great Olympics were livid and thought the penalty was dubious but the WAFA gaffer thinks otherwise as he says his side played well and deserved the win even without the penalty.

Speaking after the post match interview, the Spaniard says his side were deserving of the win as they played well and were dominant.

"I thought we deserved to win to be honest, I know we got a penalty in the end but you know we controlled the ball in the entire game."

"We were playing well, we were moving and we were lucky in the end to get a penalty.

"Regardless of the penalty we could have won the match, we deserved to win. I don’t care what people are saying, we deserved to win today

"I’m not going to speak about because sometimes it goes for you and sometimes it goes against you it’s part of football.

“I thought there was contact, you can discuss all you want but the bottom line is that, we had the ball, we created chances, we wanted to be the protagonists and you know, we got a win.” He concluded.
